Ok.. Except buffet it's baddd

Food was good, we went kind of late in the day so only a few other people were there. I felt like the waitress forgot about us towards the end. We had to find the boss of the joint to get our check and pay.

Not much of variety at the all you can eat table

If I could write a review and give them ZERO stars then I would. My daughter and I stopped in for brunch on 7/8/2018. We ordered a cheese enchilada plate. When we got our plate the food was cold, not even warm. The waiter took it back and had it remade. The remake was THE SAME temperature. Needless to say, we left. I was extremely disappointed.

The horrible seating is only surpassed by the horrible food. Maybe it was just the luke warm Cabana Taco we both ordered, but we won't go back to find out. Decent salsa though.

Over rated for the price

Ate here for mothers day and is pretty good. Had the buffet and really enjoyed it. Plenty of fajita meat and tortillas. Not to mention tons of good rice and beans. The fruit and salad bar was fresh so the cantalope was good too. The prices are on point and the staff and manager on duty were really nice and helpful. Even when we had to send back a plate. But it wasn't thier fault, we ordered not knowing how the fish was prepared and had to choose another option. But the manager was more than happy to help us out. The atmosphere is nice and cozy.

Business changed hands and food is good, the service great and the salsa excellent. New owners should rethink the soccer on every channel. I'm sure the waitstaff loves it, but lots of customers don't enjoy Spanish speaking sports or novellas.

While staying at The Whispering Winds vacation rental on the river we went out exploring and found La Cabana, it’s a great place to fill your belly after an amazing kayak trip down the river. ! It’s has awesome quesadillas! Perfect way to end our weekend stay!

It's okay food isn't spectacular and service kinda sucks but it's really convenient if your hungry you and don't want to drive all the way to Bastrop. They're are located directly of of TX HWY 71E

Always great for a quick bite. Usually when we our building a home nearby we will stop in for lunches. Staff is always friendly 🤠

Edit: I have since returned and the experience has been much much better. The good is good for the price and the service is excellent. They also make the absolute best Michelada that I have ever tasted.

This is the first place I've eaten at i over 2 months and the food and service were great!

Great serving sizes. Quick service. Only downside was that they consider velveta as the only cheese and they put it in everything. 🤨

The cheese enchiladas were good, didn't care for the tacos. That was really all I had other than chips and salsa, which were also good. My 96 year old mother loved the cheese enchiladas, said they were the best she'd ever had. They were good. I'll go back when I'm in Smithville.

Food tasted like dishwater. Maybe bc not enough traffic and they are not preparing fresh? Advertise to go better and cook fresh good. I used to love this place.

The food is great, the ambiance needs some work. I grew up in this restaurant; eating here alot as a kid with my family and it has changed alot.

Very good fajitas poblanos. Excellent cream sauce. Good portions. 2 can eat fajitas for 1. Great service. Friendly atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Great food, good atmosphere and plenty of room. I particularly like the spinach dip with chicken appetizer, I could eat it itself. Also love the Aztec plate, I get it a lot and it's always consistent. Buffet never lingers.

Mother's Day treat! Great servicer, turn around on food was quick. Food was great too.
